yay!

Bwog, WSJ, and the Spectator are covering the Kluge gift that should be announced tomorrow. There's not much for me to add, besides that without him, Columbia would be a very different place.

His Kluge Scholars program currently funds about fifty full scholarships a year, for minority and international students. That's three or four percent of each class, every year. And, if I'm reading the numbers right, about ten percent of Columbia's population of color. And it'll keep going, possibly for forever.
